Optical Illusion

This piece strives to merge art and science together – to capture attention, encourage a mutual fascination, and intrigue audiences to delve deeper into the underlying science. The illusion is a starter to the research being conducted in the CDN’s Khan Lab, which investigates changes in the brain circuitry during attention switching in mice. This art was inspired by the array of optical illusions presented to frame my novice understanding of the project. Additionally, my natural love for art encouraged me to weave artistic creativity into Neuroscience research, which is not often used in science – thus the piece was born!
