My project is the result of a collaboration with the Museum of Life Sciences. It is a video game entitled LEGACY OF LIFE SCIENCES, which aims to talk about the different specimens available in the museum in a fun and interactive way. The game follows a simple design to make it accessible to all types of audiences. However, the target audience is anyone who has studied A-level biology. The beta version of the game is envisioned to be made available on computers accessible in the Museum of Life Sciences and the final version of the game on the KCL student app in the museum’s tab. When one starts playing the game, they are shown an archipelago with each island representing a shelf in the museum. When clicking on an island, a short animation will start playing, providing a relatively small amount of information to players. Once the video is completed, players are able to interact with different stages of the video to obtain in-depth information about those stages. Once the player feels that they have learned enough information, they will be able to test their knowledge of what they have just learned through a short quiz.
