Welcome to the Neves lab - video

My project is about creating a short video that shows the workings that take place in my supervisor Dr. Joana Neves’ lab. The video begins with Dr. Joana Neves, the head of the lab, explaining the research they carry out with organoids. To ensure engagement and comprehension and to avoid monotony, I have added lots of visual resources. I have also included some diagrams and animations to help explain tricky concepts more simply. For added engagement, I have interviewed lab members regarding their respective research endeavours. This way, viewers can hear directly from the scientists and better understand how things work in the lab. Our primary target audience for this video includes individuals with a modest scientific background, while also extending its appeal to anyone even remotely interested in the field. We want to spark their interest into research involving organoids. By reaching out to this audience, we hope to get more people talking about organoids and maybe even inspire some to join in the study themselves.
