Step into the shoes of a pioneering scientists in the heart of Guy’s Campus green space. Our escape room, designed for the curious minds of young adults aged 18-25, offers an immersive journey through the thrilling world of scientific discovery in drosophila science.

The Premise: You are a team of brilliant researchers on the verge of a breakthrough. But beware, rival scientists lurk in the shadows, eager to thwart your progress. They’ve initiated a lockdown, trapping you in your own lab. Your mission? Outsmart their schemes, solve intricate puzzles to unlock the secrets of your research before time runs out.

The Challenge: Navigate through three meticulously crafted rooms, each presenting a unique set of scientific enigmas:


Room 1 and 1.5: Peer through the lens of a microscope to examine stained fly neurons. Identify the correct pathways and transpose them onto a grand wall atlas, revealing hidden messages.


Room 2: Engage in genetic sleuthing by isolating virgin flies and orchestrating a crossbreed. Witness the dance of calcium staining and document the vital spikes that hold the key to your escape.


Room 3: Synthesize your findings by assembling puzzle pieces dispersed throughout your quest. Decode the final results to claim your place in the annals of scientific history and make your grand escape.


Can you navigate the maze of intellect, overcome the treachery of rival minds, and emerge victorious from the fly lab?
